Playing on images, words and memories, I aim to confront my audience with uncomfortable subjects and expose them to a perspective they may not have had before. I offer critiques on culture, politics, social mores and race. In particular, looking at how these subjects affect diversity, justice and emotion. I want to start a dialogue with the unwitting and make seen what is unseen in plain sight.

The work is created through the use of design and collage of ready made imagery, such as magazine and text book clippings. Along with drawn objects and text, I construct layered narratives. I take aspects of popular culture that may be familiar to the viewer and intertwine all of these parts to engage the audience.
